New England Raven Kaldera at Translating Identity Conference
Intersex and transgender activist Raven Kaldera will present the workshop, "Intersex Issues in Social Health and Politics" at the 2005 Translating Identity Conference at University of Vermont this March 5. The conference explores gender and gender identitis, and is free for everyone. Watch out for keynote speaker Leslie Feinberg and opening plenary by Eli Clare, plus the performance by DRED!
SF Bay Area David Cameron to Speak at UC Berkeley

Canada Alice Dreger to Lecture in Lethbridge, Alberta
Dr. Alice Dreger of Michigan State University will deliver a lecture based on her new book, One of Us, as the annual Priestley Lecture at University of Lethbridge in Lethbridge, Alberta (Canada). Southwest Intersex Discussion at American College of Medical Genetics
American College of Medical Genetics will hold its annual meeting in Dallas, Texas, March 17-20, 2005. There is a panel on "intersex disorders" moderated by Eric Vilain of UCLA on Thursday at 1:00 to 3:00pm involving: Melissa A. Parisi from Children's Hospital Regional Medical Center in Seattle WA speaking about "A Multidisciplinary Gender Assessment Clinic: Experience Over 23 Years"; Barry A. Kogan, of Albany Medical College, Albany, NY will then speak on "Surgical Aspects of Intersex"; David E. Sandberg of Women's and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, NY on "Clinical Decision-Making: Findings from a Survey of Pediatric Endocrinologists and Urologists"; and a discussion by the panel members with the addition of Roberta A.
