Midwest Emi Koyama Lectures at ISNA President's Home Turf
On April 11, Intersex Initiative director Emi Koyama will speak at Michigan State University, the home turf of ISNA board president Dr. Alice Dreger. There are two sessions: at 3:30pm, a panel discussion titled "Keeping the Hope: Doing Activism in the Repressive Era" featuring Koyama, poet and activist Qwo-Li Driskill, and local activists in Multicultural Center, MSU Union; then at 7:30pm, Koyama will speak about the direction for the intersex in the second decade at Union Parlor C. Both events are sponsored by the Alliance of LBGT Students.
Midwest Dreger on "Nature/Nurture" Divide at MSU
On April 22, ISNA Board President Alice Dreger will present "Living in the Nature/Nurture Divide: Stories from People with Intersex" as part of the Nature/Nurture Symposium of the Lyman Briggs School of Michigan State University. The presentation is held at C-106 Holmes Hall from 11:30-12:30. The event is free and open to the public.
