The new study published in the April 12, 2003 issue of The Lancet explores outcomes of clitoral surgery on women born with atypical genitalia. Among the 39 women participated, the study found that the 18 women who experienced clitoral surgery are 78% more likely to be non-sensual, and 39% more likely to be unable to achieve orgasm.
